Why should you help? So, my name is Aditya, I am 24 years old. I began rescuing animals when I was 16 years olds, saving some bucks from my pocket money, and helping homeless animals on the streets. We started handling minor cases of community animals living on the streets. It’s been 8 years since I began my rescue journey. Now I work full-time for animals. It’s my sole purpose in life. I want to learn as much as I can to save as many animals as possible. I suffer from hypertension and, I genuinely feel that rescuing animals is something that helps me calm myself. Today, I am also a certified wildlife rescuer, who has dealt with thousands of cases both in the community and in the wild. It is truly a learning process to get to the point, I am today. And, I am so grateful for that! I usually get about 12-20 calls every day. These cases include both major and minor ones. My day usually begins at 8:30 in the morning and ends at 10:30 at night. My monthly expenses are around 5,000-10,000. As an independent rescuer, I pay for most of the aid required by the animals. Somedays, I don’t even have a penny in my pocket. But, I still keep going!

How would the funds be used? The amount raised will solely be used for medicines, enclosures, and urgent surgeries for injured animals. Rescued animals require an urgent assistant. Firstly, you need proper housing facilities to avoid bedsores or any other type of infection. A proper environment ensures fast healing of the animals. I often get some urgent cases where we need to operate animals without wasting a minute. But, due to a lack of funds, it can take time, and we may lose an animal life that could have been saved.
